(Archived) Feature Request: Insert a Date/Time Stamp

Hi,

I've been using Evernote for a while now. I upgraded to premium not long ago and am very happy with the software & service.

I do have one feature request that I wish would be considered in future software releases.

I find myself updating the same note quite a bit. I like keeping some information together rather than spread out into different notes. The one problem I have is that I'd like to be able to see when the note was last edited/updated. It would be great if the software just added a date-time stamp every time a note was edited, but I'd be happy with just a button that allowed you to insert the current date and time just as you insert a horizontal line.

You haven't specified which client you use. This is available in the Windows client (Ctrl+. If you have questions that pertain to a specific client, please post them in the appropriate sub-forum. You're more likely to get a better answer, and others who look for answers relevant to that client are more likely to find them.

I use one of the many text expander tools to do just that. When I add a line to a note, I then hit "ddd" which stamps the date, or "dt" which give me date and time.
