(Archived) Emailing Pictures From outlook issue.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just recently started doing this and it seems that every time i send an email to my evernote account with a picture attachment it doesn't show up. I get the text in the email put there is no picture to be found. I am not sure why this is happening. I am using exchange on my windows mobile phone to email the pictures. I went on my exchange email's web interface and emailed to my evernote account with a picture attached and it went through and i was able to see the picture with no issues. Anyone else having this issue ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And i can email pics from my phone to any other email address with no issues.

Thank You.

We have found some issues with how several mobile providers handle emailed attachments. For example, some will store the attachments on their servers, and only email a link. If you are using an Exchange server, your mail may be sent in Microsoft's proprietary internal Exchange format, which is not supported by other mail clients:

You may be able to configure your phone and/or server to send standard Internet mail instead of MS "TNEF" mail for attachments.

Otherwise, you may want to consider trying our native Windows Mobile client:

Thanks for the reply. I give the mobile client a try.
