(Archived) Download works. But no install. Disappears!

After my Safari Web Clipper disappeared I tried and tried again to restore. Found on Evernote help that something about Mac and Evernote requires deleting current application and uploading new. Did that. Tried that. I see Evernote for Mac downloading. Then nothing happens. Can't find the download. No install activity.

What's going on?!

Hi Patty,

Do you happen to be on the new OS X Lion? The web clipper isn't compatible, so it would seemingly disappear if you tried to install it.

not using Lion ... Using OS X 10.6.8

I'm wondering not only about web clipper but re-install not happening.
