(Archived) An error occurred while processing clipped data

I am using Evernote version 4.2.2.3919 Public. Whenever I click "Add to Evernote 4" button from Outlook 2010 (Version 14.0.5128.5000 32-bit) to copy existing notes. "An error occurred while processing clipped data (conversion failed)" error messages appear. I wonder if anyone have this problem too and find a way to solve it. Many thanks!

I read another thread which asked for "enclipper" log for debug purpose. Here are the new contents when the button is clicked:

Would it be possible for you to send me one of those notes that cause this problem?

After further investigation, I think the problem is due to the fact that my notes are imported PhatNotes 5 to Outlook. If a note is originally created from Outlook, “Add to Evernote 4” function works fine. So, I have to find another way to get convert my notes from PhatNotes to Evernote.

BTW, it would be nice if Evernote can import a text file, rather than just Outlook and Microsoft OneNote.

You can import a text file by just dropping it on the note body. Alternatively, to import multiple text files you can set up an import folder in the Tools menu.

I also received this message when trying to group send emails from my Outlook 2010 inbox to Evernote 4.6.

Apparently the "Add to Evernote 4" add-in to outlook does not play well with group selected emails when viewing them via outlook's 'Conversations View' option for the box you are trying to send from.

At least in my case, turning off Conversation view temporarily allowed me to group select, and send my entire inbox with no hassles other than a short delay while converting.
