rakileh 2
Is it me or is there a significant difference between the desktop software of Evernote and the web app of Evernote? The one on the Web is working and the Desktop version is not reflecting changes made. I am sure it is temporary and will be resolved but it is significantly impacting the experience and it is irritating to have to log in to the desktop version of Evernote. Thank you Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,771 Posted July 23 Level 5 Share Posted July 23 It can be a sign of a corrupted local database when sync is halted. Uninstall the desktop app USING REVO UNINSTALLER. Restart the PC, install fresh. Link to comment
SP146 0
Does Evernote need to have 50gb of files reside on your hard drive for the new desktop app? I've used Revo to uninstall and re-install EN but it's super frustrating when you have work to get done. How long should the re-install (and loading of files) really take? EN IOS app on my iPad and IPhone works great , thank god! Link to comment
SP146 0
Update: Well, ran the REVO uninstaller again and wiped clean the registry remnants too. Surprised to see some Adobe files in there for PS & LR which I found to be weird. Unchecked them and downloaded 10.98.2 and all went well! Logged in and within 10 minutes I was up and running.
