I know you can put photos into Evernote, but there is no way to just have photos in groups and folders and things unless they are in a note. I was wondering if you were thinking of making a option where you can import photos not into a note but into a seperate area just for photos? Link to comment

If you want to use EN as a photo organizer, you can use tags and/or accurate titles/keywords, just like you would do with other notes.
