So.  Teams account?  Any trouble sharing with other members?  (You might want to delete Jez's email address from this public forum before he makes a lot of new friends)

Hmmn.  We're mainly other users around here - you need to speak to Support who've been notable by their absence recently - I think they're a little busy.

As to causes,  it always used to be that a new personal account took a day or two to link into shared notes - if this individual is a new hire,  maybe try again tomorrow?
