Tasks not saving from previous day

I am using the professional version and twice now my tasks have not saved from the previous day. I thought it was a bug but it's repeated. Is there a setting that fixes this? As a new user, this is frustrating for sure. Any advice? I am using a web version only on Chrome.

Hi.  Exactly how do you set up your new tasks in Chrome?  Are you behind any kind of firewall or VPN?  Is there a reason you don't use the installed app?
