Tasks completely gone?

I upgraded my Evernote account and ever since I have no option to add a task and all tasks I had are completely gone (the space is there where they were in my notes, but there is no longer any text, etc). 

I have no task option on the left menu of the web version either. So - what happened to my tasks and how do I get them back?

Hi.  Have you checked the settings for tasks at the top of the panel?  If they are correct you may have had an update issue - try a full uninstall (removing the local database) and reinstall from evernote.com.
