Tasks - bugs when searching and creating tasks

I cantle create new tasks unless I'm in an existing or new note. Going to tasks, clicking on add task I can type out the task and add a due date. However, clicking on the 'Create Task' button does nothing. Also, when typing in the search box for tasks, the cursor keeps disappearing after each letter is typed. I have to keep clicking into the box to continue typing. Anyone else suffering these challenges?

I'm on version 10.62.5 on a Mac OS Sonoma14.

My task window does not show data on the app for Mac, in any of the normal ways to display tasks. I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.

Latest desktop version is now 10.65.3 (I believe) - and you're posting in an iOS forum...
