Evernote closes immediately after opening (android)

Evernote closes immediately after opening (I'm an android user). I'm currently using the free version. It opens, goes to loading screen, then closes. The problem started shortly after I switched back to free after trying personal. I have tried: 1. clearing cache. 2: deleting app and reinstalling 3: restarting phone.
