Evernote taking over 2 minutes to load on 2017 iMac

My wife's iMac (1TB fusion drive) seems to be getting slower and slower when it comes to Evernote.  Plenty of room left on the drive. she has about 93K worth of notes.  I started up Evernote and it took over 2minutes for it to load.  Also doesn't seem to be saving screen captures even though I hear the reassuring sound it makes , but I never see it appear in notes.

I probably have as many notes in Evernote on an M1 iMac. It starts up Evernote in about 3 seconds flat. Everything is smoking quick.  We're both running latest versions of Ventura.

Thoughts on what I could do for hers?

Hi.  In order of time taken...

• Sign out of Evernote and then sign back in
• Sign out of Evernote / restart device / sign back in
• Sign out of Evernote / removing database / sign back in*
• Sign out of Evernote (removing database) / uninstall app with Appcleaner / restart device / download from Evernote.com / reinstall / sign back in*
  
  *database & indexes rebuilt from the server;  takes some time.
