There's a problem that persists over several months. All updates fall back to version 10.33.5 at every restart. I have to update to latest version at every launch.

Is there a solution?

Hi.  Use Revo Uninstall Free to uinstall everything related to Evernote - this will include system files that 'normal' uninstalls don't usually deal with.  Download the latest version from Evernote.com and reinstall.
