Evernote screen frozen with pop-up

I'm on the free version of Evernote. Today on my Windows version a pop-up appeared saying "You've reached your two-device limit", with an "Upgrade now" button. I cannot exit it or click on anything else. I even tried clicking the "Upgrade now" button (even though I don't need the Personal features right now) to see if that would get rid of it, but it didn't. Closing and restarting isn't working, same pop-up.

I'd attach a screenshot, but the pop-up is transluscent and my notes are readable through it, so would rather not.

My iPad version seems to be working fine. I haven't tried logging into Evernote on a third device so don't know why I'm suddenly getting this anyway.

For whatever reason Evernote believes that you have connected to your account with more than the allowed number of devices.

Understanding the device limit
