Gmail mail.google.com Links Not Opening Correctly In IOS 15.5

Maybe I'm doing this incorrectly,  but my Evernote Gmail email links do not open in Evernote on my iPhone. They work fine in the Evernote v10 desktop app.

For example, In Windows 10 desktop, I copy an email link (i.e. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx....) to a Evernote v10 desktop note and save it. It always opens to the correct email in Evernote, no matter which Gmail folder it is in. 

Opening that same note on my iPhone just brings me to my Gmail primary folder list, and not that specific email.

As a follow-up to my own questions, I do not believe this is an Evernote IOS problem.

When opening that same Gmail email link in IOS Safari and Chrome (i.e. https://mail.google.com.xxxxxxx.....), it just bring me to the Gmail primary folder and not the specific email associated with that link. So, the results are identical to Evernote IOS.
