  1. The note I was working on was fairly large (377 KB - 56,205 words - 304,237 characters), but I didn't think it was *that* large. So, I split it up and EN is responding quicker with the smaller note. I still think there is a problem with this latest update, as prior update worked on the "large" note just fine. EN Support responded that they needed more info, but since it's working with the smaller note now, I'll let it be.
  2. I disabled 'check spelling while typing', quit and restarted, but no change. EN is still slow. I will send a support ticket. Thank you.
  3. I auto updated my main PC to EN v10.80.3 on Windows 11. After update, EN is extremely slow. For instance, I press a letter key and over 5 seconds elapse before it displays. I can type an entire sentence, and then sit back and watch as EN slowly takes it's time before finishing 10 or more seconds later. So, I tested EN on my Windows 11 test pc with similar processor speed, and it functioned with normal acceptable speed. I checked and it was still the prior version. So then I updated the test pc to 10.80.3, and it became extremely slow too. It must be something in the latest update. The processor on both machines is under 5%, so cpu load is not the issue. EN on both machines was Quit and restarted many times to no avail. So, EN on both computers is very very slow. It's almost unusable right now.
  4. As a follow-up to my own questions, I do not believe this is an Evernote IOS problem. When opening that same Gmail email link in IOS Safari and Chrome (i.e. https://mail.google.com.xxxxxxx.....), it just bring me to the Gmail primary folder and not the specific email associated with that link. So, the results are identical to Evernote IOS.
  5. Maybe I'm doing this incorrectly, but my Evernote Gmail email links do not open in Evernote on my iPhone. They work fine in the Evernote v10 desktop app. For example, In Windows 10 desktop, I copy an email link (i.e. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx....) to a Evernote v10 desktop note and save it. It always opens to the correct email in Evernote, no matter which Gmail folder it is in. Opening that same note on my iPhone just brings me to my Gmail primary folder list, and not that specific email.
  6. Agsteele, great advice as usual!! Uninstalling - Rebooting - Reinstalling solved my problem! Tasks work as they should with v10.18.3. On my other desktop with the older version Evernote v10.17.8, I did a reboot and saw the same 'Tasks' problem. Obviously, it was something I did and not related to Evernote.
  7. I've already submitted a Ticket to support, but thought I'd share this upgrade issue with Tasks..... Evernote upgraded me to v10.18.3 last night, and then Tasks stopped working. All I get is a spinning circle if I click on Tasks in the Sidebar. Or, from Home screen layout, Tasks just 'pulses' blank lines in the upper right corner. I've rebooted, logged out and back in, but still get the same problem. I can still access Tasks successfully from my iPhone IOS app, and the web version on evernote.com works just fine too. Tasks worked fine with my prior Windows v10.17.8 version.
  8. Update: Thursday morning 8:45 AM EDT 07/22/2021... This may be resolved (server side??) as I cannot re-create the Tasks problem as of this morning. Both Evernote IOS and Windows Desktop have no problems accessing Tasks, and no need to log out/in anymore. If this changes, I will update. Fingers crossed :).
  9. For those with a paid subscription and can't access some premium features like Tasks, try logging out and then back in on your iPhone. Rebooting iPhone or just closing and opening the app didn't do it for me. I had to manually log out of Evernote and then log back in on my iPhone to get access back to Tasks. !!!! UPDATE !!! Well, I spoke too soon.. :(. Logging out and then back in 'does' get me access to Tasks.... but for that session only! Once I leave Evernote on my iPhone and go back in, I 'lose' Tasks again and must log out/in to get them back. This is not good :(.
  10. The overnight downloads worked pretty good. I only had one notebook that appears to be 'stuck'. I've de-selected/selected and hopefully, that one will complete over tonight. I only have a total of about 4.75GB, so it took much less time than your mammoth 20GB :). Thanks again.
  11. I totally forgot that the downloads only happen when the app is open. Thanks!! Most of my Notebooks have 'green progress bars' :(. I will use your instructions, and keep the app open and running overnite. Thanks again....
  12. iPhone 12 v14.6 Evernote IOS 10.13 I'm an Evernote premium user with 'Download all notebooks' selected for Offline Notebooks. The Notebooks always get downloaded, but any PDF attachments within the Notes do not get download until I 'tap' them on my iPhone. When I open a Note with a PDF, I'll see 'tap to load attachment'. The attachment always loads fine after download, but I must 'tap' it first. I assumed 'Download all notebooks' means all attachments within the Notes too. I realize the downloads may not happen instantaneously, but I can go back weeks and still see notes that have attachments not downloaded yet. Is this a bug or just the way Evernote for IOS works? Thanks.
  13. With Option #1... You are probably already doing this.... but just in case.... When in the Snagit Editor, don't forget to click the "Copy All" icon in upper right to 'copy entire canvas to the clipboard'. Unfortunately, a Snagit capture doesn't seem to automatically put it in the clipboard.
  14. Windows: Evernote v10.16.7 Windows: Snagit 2021.4.1(64-bit) Above are my current versions. I've been using Snagit for Windows and Evernote for years. With Evernote 10.x, the original Snagit preset no longer works, but I'll show you a workaround that fixes this. Also, there are two ways to copy/paste from Snagit to Evernote, and I'm not sure which one you are talking about. Option #1: Screen capture with Snagit and then copy capture to clipboard for pasting into Evernote. This has always worked fine for me using these steps: -- (1)Screen capture with Snagit, (2) use Snagit Editor to copy capture to the clipboard, and then (3) just paste (ctrl-v) clipboard contents into Evernote. Option #2: Use Snagit Evernote preset to automate screen capture directly into a new Evernote note. -- Problem: The original Snagit preset doesn't work with Evernote v10. -- Solution: Create a new Snagit preset for Evernote v10 using these steps: 1. Preset Editor / Edit / Manage Custom Program Destinations. 2. Hit the '+' icon and ’new program' and navigate to the Evernote v10 executable to add it. 3. Then I created a new Preset with the new 'Evernote test' executable as destination. I hope this helps....
  15. This may not be ideal, but I pin Evernote to the Task Bar so it's always there. First click after boot opens it, subsequent clicks just max or minimize it.
