Evernote Mac toolbar keeps disappearing. How do I get it back?

There may be a simple explanation for this but I cannot find anything in the forum (except closed discussion from quite a while back) or searching Google. The toolbar (assuming that's what it's called) that has the drop down menu of possible tasks as well font style and size, etc. disappears sometimes and I do not know how to get it to reappear. 

Can you help with this?

Can you post a screenshot showing what disappears ? Place a marker, to make sure we all are looking at the same element.

Thanks for the reply PinkElephant. I've resolved the issue and it was a simple issue (as I thought). When I move my cursor into the body of the individual note, it appears. If I put my cursor in the title of the note, it appears but is whited out. If I'm just reviewing the note but without placing a cursor in the note, then all I can see is the last edited date. I do like the new toolbar and glad it was a simple issues. Thanks.
