Updated time in Notes list is very wrong

Evernote keeps saying that notes are updated yesterday when I haven't touched them in years.

When I select "Notes" to view a list, sort by "updated" I get results that are wwwwwaaaaaayyyy off. It doesn't actually list recent notes (unless I edit today). Very old notes always say that I updated them "yesterday"
