Evernote for Mac 10.26

Recommended Posts

Today we released Evernote for Mac 10.26.5. This is primarily a bug fix release with a few light improvements.

It is available now via the Mac App Store and as a direct download version from our website. If you are already running one of these versions, we are progressively rolling out to compatible devices and the new version will be available on all supported operating systems within 7 days. New to Mac 10.26

  • We increased the maximum length of a task title from 300 characters to 1000.
  • Quickly add files to Evernote on your Mac--right-click and select Evernote from the Share menu to create a new note with your file in it. (If you don't see Evernote in the menu, click More to open System Preferences, make sure it's checked, and drag it to the top of the list.)
  • Your default notebook will now have its own unique icon, so it's easy to spot while you're scrolling through your list.

Fixed highlights:

  • We tweaked some things so the app now runs more efficiently, particularly when idle for a while as well as when account switching. This should reduce CPU usage.

Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!
