Evernote for Mac 10.16

Recommended Posts

Hello!

Today we released Evernote for Mac 10.16 (v 10.16.7 build 2732).

This release contains “Import folders” - a new feature for our Mac customers that lets you pair folders on your computer with notebooks in Evernote. Once set up, any file dropped or scanned into that folder will automatically create a note with the file in Evernote. Find the feature in Evernote > Preferences.

Past release notes are archived here.

It is available now via the Mac App Store and as a direct download version from our website. If you are already running one of these versions, we are progressively rolling out to compatible devices and the new version will be available on all supported operating systems within 7 days. New to Mac 10.16

  • Import folders are now available via the Preferences menu. After setting up a folder / notebook pair, just place a file (PDF, image, etc.) into the target folder and it’ll be automatically added to your Evernote account.
  • Stability and performance improvements.

Fixed highlights:

  • Occasionally, notes would appear to be blank and the only solution was to restart the app. This should be resolved and we will continue to monitor.
  • We fixed an issue where the timestamp on a note wouldn't update automatically.
  • Tasks bugfixes.
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Coming soon:

  • Dragging and dropping note links and tags directly into your note
  • Additional export options (in progress - HTML and export options released in 10.13)
  • Import Folder
  • Duplicate more than one note at a time
  • Filtered notes widget for Home
