PDF Attachment Expanding

Hi

 

Just wondering why some PDFs dragged onto notes become fully readable and searchable which is great but others remain as a stand alone attachment and never expand?

Iv'e attached two pictures of what i mean - this isn't an indexing issue - the PDF has been attached now for a few weeks.

I think it is size. In my experience above about 15MB it defaults to the attachment style and the other options don't even appear. It is still searchable (I've just tried) but the search term is obviously not highlighted in the text.

I have the same question.  I was wondering if it was related to a security setting in a particular PDF, but the size observation makes sense.  I'll have to see how big the PDFs are that I have that won't expand.  Is there a feature request to allow bigger PDFs to show inline?  I couldn't find one.
