The latest beta keeps crashing on my HTC EVo. It loads the tags, but it crashes before it can load the notes and notebooks

Uninstalled everything and re-installed it, but same result

Didn't have this problem with the previous beta (2)

Can you please submit your client logs in a bug report? You can use SendLog to access the logs from your device and email them to:

android-preview@evernote.com
