How to export all notes

I used to be able to select all notes and export to create a backup. The Version 10.4.4 build 2096 public does not allow this.

How can I export all the notes?

What conceivable reason would justify not permitting a 'select all' function?

To backup several thousand notes I would have to perform scores of operations.

I have found maybe thirty or forty individual problems since this new software was installed.

The Version 10 product is a work-in-progress.  imho  It's not ready for general use

That's helpful to know. It seems odd that they would release a product in which an ordinary user like myself, within minutes, discovers numerous fundamental problems that prevent normal use. There was no warning that this was the case.

This is indeed very annoying for long term users - especially when you pay for the service!  

While I have robust automatic and manual disk backups in place for my Mac, no easy access to Evernote's databases is a ridiculous exclusion.

I, too, used to back up all my notes. I recommend this app to my clients. This is disappointing.
