There was a system update to my tablet on the 18th August 2020, and since then the feature to highlight multiple words, or sentences to either cut or copy is not working when I create or amend notes. Only suggestion would be to clip the whole page(s) to edit later, or maybe use a reader app like Pocket and clip from there... Link to comment

I've also had the same issue with two other applications. After reporting it to Amazon, all they said is there is a conflict with their system update and those applications and to report them respectively. 1 Link to comment
