Notes wiping out content

I've had a few occasions where I created a note and added content but the content disappears and the Note is empty. At times I thought I'd been making errors but earlier this week it occurred again. The the summary viewing pane the Note shows the MS Word document but the Note itself is empty. The History versions are also empty.

I reloaded the document yesterday, fortunately I hadn't deleted it off my desktop, but overnight the Note is empty again (even though the summary viewing pane shows the Word doc again). It was definitely synchronised and the document was there in the Note when I shut down last night. The History version is also blank.

I logged a support ticket yesterday but haven't had a reply from Evernote.

Has anyone else struck this and know what's happening?
