Hey eyez73 and skajeff. Thanks for the report. One thing the Evernote clients do is sync notes in the trash, which allows them to be undeleted from the Web or any other client. If the notes you are having trouble with are in the trash you'll need to empty it for the problem to go away.

Let us know if that works.

Ok, before going through the steps to reset the local mac client, I'd like to try and get a little more information about the error.

First up, open Apple's Console application. If you're unfamiliar with Console, you can find it in Applications/Utilities. You'll see a window like the one below. Click on "Console Messages".

post-8182-131906062004_thumb.jpg

Now run Evernote and try to sync. You should see some output from Evernote appear in the Console window.

That's the info I'm looking for. Select and copy those messages and then either post them here or send them to me in a private message using the forum.

Thanks!

Hi, Got a solution that worked for me: empty the trash - not the mac trash, but the built in trash in the Evernote client. One note must have caused the error message; now it is gone!

;-)

Good luck

Got same/similar issue. Namely:

Sync Report

4 errors occurred

Emptied Mac trash. Still an issue.

Emptied Evernote trash. Still an issue.

Andrew, if you don't mind, could you please look at my Evernote log too? I've been experiencing lots of sync errors recently (Don't think it's just isolated to my MacBook Pro, because I've been experiencing really slow syncs on my iPod Touch too.) Started just yesterday -
