Placed next to "All Notes" and "Sync", a back arrow would allow the user to return to the previous note viewed. The user would not need to do a search to get back to the previous note and continue the previous task. Link to comment

In the Windows client, back and forward operations are supported: Alt+ArrowLeft and Alt+ArrowRight, specpectively, and there's a toolbar control as well, if you need something to click on (you may have to add it by hand if your installation isn't configured for that by default).
