(Archived) What happens when I move a note from online to local noteboo

What happens when I move a note from the synced notebook to a local notebook. Is there still a copy maintained online?

It is painful to switch preferences so that new scans go to the local notebook EVERY time I scan, so wanted to scan all into the inbox and then move the sensitive stuff to the local notebook. I'd like to know if there are any remnants left over.

If you move a note from a synchronized notebook to a local one, and then sync your client, we will permanently delete all references to that old note from our servers. If you move it back later, that basically creates a new note on the server with that same content.
