(Archived) Can we attach a PDF file without displaying content?

My apologies if this is addressed elsewhere, but I am unable to find it:

Can I attach a PDF to an evernote so that it appears as a link (as would a .doc or .zip file) rather than displaying the content of the PDF file? Thus far, I've been unable to sort this out, and it makes Evernote less useful to me than it would be otherwise. If I'm missing something, please point me in the right direction. If this is not possible, please consider adding this to a list of necessary fixes.

You need to post this question in a more specific forum, e.g., EN for Mac, or EN 3.5. Because in EN 3.1, you can do this. But I'm guessing you're not using that platform/version.
