Is there a way to set the default notebook in evernote for android? If so, how? If not, is this feature to be added?

Hi Kirk, welcome to the forum :)

I appears that currently the option to set a notebook as default is not available. The only options that I can find for notebook are these:
(found by pressing the small triangle next to notebook count, circled)

In the mean time, you can do this in the web and desktop clients.

Unless you're changing the default from time to time, the way to change the default in Android is - wait until you can do it on a PC. If you really need to spread notes around, try setting up an 'inbox' folder as your default, then when you're at your laptop, browse this folder and reassign notes as you require. You could put the required folder name in the document name so you can search later and reassign blocks of notes to the right notebook.

I use Evernote constantly but don't speak for them.  Opinions here are my own based (more or less) on age,  experience,  and common business sense.

Evernote read what's posted here,  and take it into consideration setting priorities;  they don't normally comment on individual cases,  or offer any forecasts or promises on whether or when a new feature might be released.
