Software which recognizes if text is highlighted or not and only scans it or summarizes

I'm looking for a software/tool/app which recognizes if a text is highlighted or not and only scans it or summarizes whats highlighted. When I read a book I underline some of the text from the book and also later I highlight the key things I underlined and then digitalize them.
I'd like to automate the 3rd part so wondering if there's any such software
