feedback - hard to navigate with tags

I took the beta for a quick test drive but had to revert back almost immediately. My way of using and navigating Evernote is via tags. In the old UI I see my (numerous) tags in a compact list and can navigate to related notes with one click. In beta... not so.

 

Actually the tags list could be even more compact in the old ui.. maybe a tag cloud like Delicious used to have?

Actually, the tags list is the thing, that also made me back to the old version, especially that the tags structure (hierarchy) is gone in beta. I think it should be at least an option for switching it on and off. Personally, I can't use evernote without it at all, and I think there are more people like me...
