There seem to be some sync / response issues with this latest version,  but that doesn't mean this isn't due to a local gremlin of some sort.  Check to see how many unsynced notes you have,  and make sure you aren't close to your upload limit.  Exit any shared notebooks temporarily,  and empty your trash folder.  Try to sync again,  and of that doesn't work consider a clean reinstall.  If you search the forums you'll find detailed instructions on how to do that safely if you need them.
