(Archived) [BUG] Evernote blank note

vantomet

Idea

Hello everybody

I'm currently using my evernote on my macbook pro (os x 10.8.2) and evernote version 5.0.4.

As some of you may know, the macbook has a search option (cmd+space) which allows one to search for files.

As i searched for an evernote file, i stumbled across the note i was looking for, and opened it. The second time i opened the note, it was all blank - the note itself was not deleted (there are no notes in the trashbin), but all the content inside the note was deleted. It says i've edited the note, even though i didn't touch a thing

Is there a way to fix this? Unfortunately, i'm not a premium user.

I'm begging for your help, i lost notes for my last exam, and i am really in dire need of a good grade :( Those notes were really important..

Here are pictures of the search function and the blank note

If you have a premium account, you could check the note history. It's only taken once about every eight hours, so it may not have the latest version of your note. If you're not premium, it may be worth spending the $5 to upgrade for a month & check the note history.
