  1. I don't necessarily need Legacy.
  2. Thanks! I meant the following: Web browser on the PC and app on the smartphone. I'll then look around for an alternative. Google is too playful for me.
  3. Thanks. Thank's for the tipps! I would like to be able to continue syncing between a Windows PC and Android. It doesn't have to be a standalone program. Input via the web browser would be enough for me.
  4. Hello, One question please: I received notification that Evernote Legacy will be permanently shut down on March 23, 2024. I use Android 8. An update to Android 9 is not offered. Could someone please let me, if there is a way to continue using Evernote on mobile after March 23, 2024? If that's not possible, I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a note-taking software / app that's as similar as possible to Evernote Legacy? Thanks!
  5. Hello, I find it very unfortunate for this company that such serious decisions are not announced long in advance. 99% of all free users won't even know about it. There is no message about this in the app or program. Best regards
  6. Thanks for the links! Does anyone know what Evernote does with free users' notes and notebooks when they have "too many" of them? Will their data simply be deleted?
  7. That's not the problem in my opinion. I think that Evernote has been having a massive technical problem for days that they haven't been able to get under control yet. Evernote should announce this if so. I receive no response to support requests. If legacy users were simply switched off without specifying a date and would no longer be able to access their data in order to be able to back it up, for example, I would also consider this to be legally questionable. That's why I don't think Evernote acts like that.
  8. Thanks. I can't test this at the moment because I've already used up the options I'm allowed to switch between PC and web this month. In my case, the synchronization between PC and server has been blocked by Evernote for several days. During this time, I wrote some new notes on the PC that I couldn't access via the web because they weren't synced yet. Yesterday I logged out of the PC as a test because of the synchronization problem and have not been able to log in since then.
  9. Thanks, but I cannot use v10, because of my old Windows, but I need access to my data to make a copy.
  10. Thanks, but there are some reports online that other people's synchronization was switched off on Legacy. It's not just Windows, the phone has to be bought new because it only works with legacy.
  11. Hi, Evernote deactivated my legacy version yesterday by turning off synchronization. I now have a big problem because I can't update to the current version due to my old hardware.
  12. Hello, Has anyone asked the support in the last few weeks whether there will be a solution for the problem with the checkboxes in the future?
  13. I'm sorry. I'm a bit desperate at the moment. Otherwise I would have had another question about Google Keep. Then I'll stop asking. Are you a moderator here?
  14. Thanks for the tip! Is it possible to use Joplin offline and synchronize it directly between PC and phone app? How much does Joplin cost?
