Gboard has a feature which allows users to quickly delete words behind the cursor. If the user puts their thumb on the "backspace" button, and then keeps their thumb held down while moving their thumb to the left, Gboard will delete words behind the cursor. The further the user moves their thumb to the left, the more words will be deleted. When this is done in an Evernote note, words behind the cursor are deleted, as expected, but words ahead of the cursor are also deleted unexpectedly. Said another way, more words are deleted than should be deleted.
