This bug was a bit difficult to explain. I could've done a better job condensing the problem, I will take this into account for the next time reporting a bug. Maybe using a numbered list with steps to reproduce the issue can work better.
Anyway, I have tested this again today, and it appears to have been fixed in one of the updates between May and August.
