Hooray!! Thank you PinkElephant! This has fixed the problem. I was able to drop a device which I couldn't find previously (the old Mac computer which died and I backed up the new computer from, but couldn't drop the Evernote login from!) and the process you suggested worked perfectly. Really grateful for your help 😊 thank you for sharing your expertise.

Hi there, For nearly a month (and through 3 Evernote updates - currently on 10.22.3) I have been unable to create a new note in my desktop app. I've tried using the + button, Cmd+N, and File -> New Note. Instead of creating a new note, Evernote highlights the topmost note in the 'Notes' view of the app. I am logged in one my Android phone and can create new notes there - these sync to the Mac desktop fine. I can edit notes on the desktop, and the Web Clipper is working to create new notes from both Safari and Chrome. Please help 🙏🏼 I can't find a similar issue on the forums.
