    Just happened to me. I'm using IOS. Out of nowhere today, it said View only. I figured I would try to make a copy and delete this note. So, I went to "duplicate note". I saw I would be able to edit the copied note, so I went into the original note. The original note was now editable. Must have been some sort of glitch. Good luck guys. Hope this works for you!
