For the benefit of anyone else that has this come up:
Also, what I did was just delete everything Evernote related and reinstalled using latest version. See below.Roselyn M. (Evernote Help and Learning)

Hi J10Block.
Thank you for taking the time in contacting Evernote Support. My name is Roselyn, and I am happy to assist you today.
I understand that you are presented with "Something went wrong on our end, sorry about that. Please try restarting Evernote." error when launching Evernote app. I'm sorry to hear that reinstalling the app didn't resolve the issue. However, I appreciate your effort for doing some troubleshooting on your end before contacting us.
In an attempt to resolve this issue, please try reinstalling the local copy of your notes by following the steps below. This is called a database rebuild.
- Go to search located next to the start button
-
Search for
%appdata%
- Locate and delete the Evernote folder
- Go to Evernote.com/downloads and download and install the latest version of Evernote.
- Launch Evernote again and sign in
Please let us know how this works on your end. If you have other concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact us anytime.
Sincerely,
Roselyn M.

I'd like an answer on this. I'm paying an annual subscription and my program is not working.
I tried support and it's just an error message. What gives?

It stopped working after the latest Windows Update this morning. It won't open nor will it re-install. I uninstalled and it won't re-install either. Just a message from Evernote saying "Something went wrong on our end, sorry about that. Please try restarting Evernote"
Quit
RestartThat's it. Anyone else had this come up?
