    @KWCThanks, your fix helped to solve the issue. Actually, I didn't need to re-install the software. When I looked at ~/Library/Containers there were two Evernote folders. One with a recent timestamp and another one a few month older. I deleted the newer one and then launched the Evernote software. Worked like a charm.
