I make extensive use of tags in my Evernote.  Within the Legacy version I could search within a tag to further narrow my results.  But I haven't yet found this ability in the Windows 10.48.5-win-ddl-public (3769) version.  Am I missing something?  Thanks.

Something's keeping my .exb file current, and I'll accept your explanation that my still installed Legacy file is updating .exb from the closud.

If Evernote Windows (which I now know as v10) is backing up to the cloud, my next research project will be to find out how to backup from the cloud.  Thanks again.

I've just migrated from Legacy to the Windows 10.46.7 platform with 9200+ notes.  I'm used to manually backing up the Evernote database in Legacy to .enex files and an .exb file in C:/Users/[name]/Evernote/Datebases.  (I have one master notebook and organize by tags.)

I see that the Windows version is automatically backing up to the .exb file.  Should I continue to back up to .enex files and, if so, how?  The Windows version lacks "All Notes" in the sidebar where I would start my .enex backup in Legacy.  I still have Legacy and suppose I could continue to use that if necessary, so long as it's around.  Many thanks.

"... are you thinking about an Import Folder?"   Thanks, gazumped.  Yes, I've been using import folders on the EN Windows version for a long time.  Recently changed from the Legacy version to v.10.20.4, and started using the v10 web app as well, and have been  trying to figure out which to keep.  I can't use import folders with the web version, I'm now getting that 10.20.4 is squirrelly (I can't see half of the files assigned to a particular tag), so that leaves me going back to - Legacy.  I hope they get the desktop version right because it has always been what I need.

Ditto on being a paid EN user for 10+ years.  I'm trying to live with the v10 web app but haven't figured out how to make it import files - a must have for me - and don't think it does it.  Am I right?  Thanks.

I'm trying to export my master Filing Cabinet notebook to an .enex file, which I've done a hundred times.  But the export became stuck on note 7361 of 7573.  I deleted some unneeded notes and then the export became stuck on note 7261 of 7321.  To a layman, it seems as though there's a pesky note somewhere in there hanging up the backup, but I don't know which one.  (Running 6.24.2.8919 on Win10.)  Thanks.
