Evernote Mobile new version - issues

There doesn't seem to be any way to navigate back to the new 'Home' screen once you've left it. -
I find it incredibly distracting that over a third of my Evernote screen is taken up by a view of a note that has no relevance to what I am trying to do at that moment in time, and furthermore I have to wait while that note loads! Ruined!

Absolutely agree. I strongly dislike the distraction of having note view open all the time. Seriously, the option to hide note view needs reinstating asap.
