I only heard of EN a couple/few months ago. After watching Youtube reviews, I immediately tried the free version. But when I saw the increase capacity & offline ability, I quickly switched & upgraded. I love it. I'm not sure why, but after several updates (I always allow most rent) I now can't save/link to local files on my PC? Maybe I was disillusioned & was never a feature? And I can't access it offline unless I am online first? huh? What's the point? When I go outside & fire up my laptop (no internet) I can't get EN to open. I read some forum comments about settings & preferences which I don't even have on my version. Having said that, I can't believe I now have to consider cutting this product loose & looking for something else.

This is near useless if I can't use offline. I always keep the most recent update. Is that a mistake? What's the point of offline if you have to be online first? I see no user preferences to get around this, Can someone post step-by-step? My situation is simple. When I go to use my laptop (outdoors) , there is no internet. That's the whole point & need. But from what I see here, I have to be signed in before going off line.
