  1. I thought this is the place to ask for support for this exact version telling from the name of the forum - Evernote for Mac Issues (Versions 7.14 and under)? I've also explained why I'm on an older version - because things that used to work (like shortcuts) stopped working in EN 10.
  2. Version: 7.14.1 (I'm on the Legacy version because the new versions since a few years ago removed most of the keyboard shortcuts that I frequently use.) Every time I open Evernote app, it self-closes after 2 seconds, showing me a memory dump (attached). I've been a paying customer of Evernote for over a decade. The app (on both Mac and iOS) has been getting more and more buggy in the past few years to the point of being unusable now. I feel betrayed.
  3. > If you go to the help menu of v10, you find a ton of shortcuts. Should be enough to take a while even to learn a bunch of them That was the first thing I did when I realized the shortcuts were gone. Unfortunately the shortcut customization menu did not include these shortcuts. It has others, but that's irrelevant to my question. > If you miss something mission critical for you, there is still legacy. I am using the legacy version on two of my computers for this very reason, but that's not the solution either. I should not have to stay on legacy as a paying customer. The reason I posted this thread is more to find out why these shortcuts were removed. I cannot imagine any reason for that to happen.
  4. I've been a paying customer for 10+ years. With the recent updates, the shortcuts that I use on a multiple-times-a-day basis have been removed. Examples: • Jump to anything: cmd + J • Search: cmd + ctrl + E I use these 10+ times a day. Without the shortcut, the first function (jump) is simply nowhere to be found, and the second function (search) requires the clumsy and slow mouse. Why were these removed? It's unfathomable that EN has been taking a nose dive on its usability.
  5. Please make this expansion configurable and end this stupidity. Also, where's the voting thread?
  6. I've been a paying Evernote customer for about 10 years, and the function I used the most often on a daily basis has been "jump to note". In Mac, it's the shortcut "cmd + J" (I can pull up a note matching a keyword in 2 seconds end-to-end), secondary to the "search" shortcut ("ctrl + cmd + E"). I use them at least 10+ times every day. I just got a new MacBook so I installed the latest Evernote version. These 2 shortcuts no longer work. I searched the internet and found in the help page for shortcuts that these 2 were no longer supported in the new version. It was a tremendously sad news. I've been a diehard Evernote fan for 10 years, and this is a sign that this company is going downhill. It is betraying its customers by taking away vital functions like this without even bothering to give a reason. There should be no valid reasons for this change. I'm a programmer myself, I know how easy it is to support shortcuts like this, especially given that other ones are supported, and that they were supported before. It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen this company do. I'm extremely disappointed in the Evernote company.
