Sorry my bad. I actually made a typo or my phone did. I meant to say UpNote not OneNote. I’ve corrected my original post now. 

I’ve been tearing my hair out looking for a suitable replacement that is cost effective. 
 

I’ve ended up with UpNote as it ticks mosts boxes and it’s only £30 for a lifetime license and it syncs well. 
 

im surprised there hasn’t been more mention of it on this chat?

I also tried obsidian (with iCloud), bear and Joplin.
