Just updated evernote and was frantically searching for sync button. Seems they have made it instant sync - seems to be working well between my laptop and tablet. One thing that helps is click any other note and back to the note you are editing and it surely syncs it. I would say it is a positive change. One thing I do notice is the preference options are gone - in a way better since fewer things to mess up on. Thanks to Evernote team for offering such a useful tool.
