About mattots

  1. When adding or editing a note in the Mac app, the dropdown list of notebooks shows as a flat list with no indication of how the notebooks relate to any stacks you may have set up. It really needs to show the notebooks grouped by stack, not only for ease of finding the right one, but because without the stacks it actually becomes unusable if you have notebooks with the same name in multiple stacks (unless, as I have done, you append the stack name to the notebook name, which kind of defeats the point of having stacks in the first place.) (If you're wondering why I need notebooks with the same name in different stacks - I have one stack for each 'topic' I keep notes on, and in each stack I set up a variety of notebooks for specific types of notes under that topic, but also have a 'General' notebook in each stack where notes that don't easily fall into one of the other notebooks reside).
  2. It could be that it's specific to CM7 although I've been running Evernote on CM7 for several months without any issues until this which has started happening in the last week or two.
  3. I'ver been having exactly the same issue on my HTC Desire running CM7 since the latest Evernote update. Occasionally it works for a bit, but then the error comes back again. Tried uninstalling, clearing data, reinstalling, unmounting and remounting SD card... nothing consistently resolves it. Since there are no issues with other apps it looks pretty much certain this is a bug in the Evernote app itself. I haven't bothered emailing support as I know I'll only get the stock, unhelpful answers like 'send a log file, restart the phone, reinstall the app, try the latest beta etc! It's pretty annoying though as it renders one of the most-used and most useful apps on my phone pretty much useless 90% of the time
  4. I'd like to add my vote for this too. I also use strikethrough a lot in notes (not just for marking items in lists as done) and find the current 6 clicks (compared with 1 if there was a dedicated toolbar button or 0 for a keyboard shortcut) a real ball-ache.
