This issue has been resolved. It does not happen anymore which is weird, nothing was changed and there was not even an update to Evernote.

Hi everyone, it's my first time using evernote and I'm using it on Windows 10 desktop (not the web client) and I am reading a book and making highlights as an annotation. Once I save the annotation, whether on the same PDF or as a copy of the PDF the end result is that my highlights are moving left and up. If it were just moving left it would be fine, but it moves up too making it very difficult for me to figure out what I have actually highlighted. If you look at the attached image, the first highlight needs to be on "direct numerical simulation" but it moves way up and to the left. I couldn't find any other references to this problem and it makes me think that I am doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
