  1. I found a way to make this work! When I have my phone connected to Android Auto, I just have to press and hold the voice command button on my steering wheel and say, "Note to self," then dictate a short note. Evernote is my default note-taking app through Google Now, so it automatically forwards the note.
  2. Well, I hope they'll think about it. Both Android Auto and Apple Car Play are just starting to roll out, so it may take some time, but I'd sure love to see Evernote in my car!
  3. I'm still unable to forward emails (individual OR bulk) to Evernote from Outlook. I've tried installing and re-installing, etc. Please note that the solution to download the app for Outlook 2013 only works for those who have access to Exchange Server 2013. I'm using: Windows 10 Outlook 2013 Exchange Server 2010 Evernote Outlook Clipper
  4. I've reinstalled everything, and I'm still getting, "Failed to import note. No declaration of attribute style of element BODY." I'm using Outlook 2013 and Windows 10.
  5. Has Evernote given any thought to providing an app that will work with Android Auto or other in-car platforms? I was driving today with Android Auto running in my Sonata, and I really wanted to send a note to myself, but there was no way to do it. I'd love to be able to dictate a note into Evernote or have voice control read a note to me, the same way it will read texts in Android Auto. A lot of messaging apps are available: Telegram, WhatsApp, Skye, Text Me! Kik, ICQ, Hangouts, and a few others. Media apps like Spotify, iHeartRadio, Google Play, TuneIn Radio, and others are available, too. Please add Evernote to the list!!
  6. I created a Penultimate note today that was six pages long. I can see if fine in Penultimate on my iPad, but the version that synced to Evernote is missing the first two pages. I was able to save the whole thing as a PDF and send it to Dropbox, but I'm concerned that the full note is note is not syncing properly to Evernote.
  7. Has anyone found a solution for this? I use a similar naming scheme, and I also have to rename everything manually.
  8. Is there any way to set the default notebook for Evernote Share or rearrange the tags, so they appear in alphabetical order (or better still, so you can type a few letters and have options appear)? I have quite a few notebooks and hundreds of tags, and it they appear in random order, which makes clipping very difficult. Maybe I'm missing something?
  9. That worked perfectly. Thanks! Now that I've gotten that far, I'd like to accomplish two more things: 1. Have it automatically open the note and/or 2. Have it switch to Evernote as the active window. (I noticed that this works if Evernote is minimized, but it doesn't switch it to the active window automatically.) Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  10. Thank you, that was very helpful! Do you happen to know what the right syntax would be when trying to pull up a notebook with a multiple word name? I was able to get the shortcut to find a note created today in a notebook with a single-word name using this: "C:\Program Files\Evernote\Evernote\ENScript.exe" shownotes /q "notebook:2012 created:day" but, when I try to get it to look in a notebook named "2012 Daily Notes," it fails. I've tried adding double and single quotes around the phrase "2012 Daily Notes," but it doesn't work. Also, is there anyway to automatically open the note? Many thanks again...
  11. Is there a way to create a shortcut that could reside on the Windows desktop (or in a keyboard macro) that will run a saved search in Evernote? I use IFTTT to create a new page each day where I keep all my notes. I can pull up each day's note through a saved search with the query: notebook:"2012 daily notes" created:day." I'd love to have this search available as a desktop icon, taskbar icon, or keyboard macro, so I can jump to the note from any program instantly. I've figured out how to do this on my Android phone by saving the search to the home screen, but I can't see how to do it in regular desktop Windows.
  12. Depends on what the information. I keep some things separate, but having lots of little notes would just clutter things for me and make using Evernote less helpful.
  13. I wish it were optional, so it could be turned off. I often merge lots of little notes I make all day into one document, and it's annoying to have these giant bars messing up the formatting. Cutting and pasting each note into a single document works as an alternative, but it's time consuming (and needlessly so). Same thing with pasting audio notes. I end up with a blue bar around the entire note. I haven't figured out how to delete the bar without deleting the pasted audio file.
  14. Is there any way to turn off the formatting that puts the giant letters and blue band into notes when you merge them? It gets really annoying when you don't want to change the formatting you have, and I haven't figured out a way to automatically set things to what they were before the merge happened. Thanks!
  15. OK, but what about having the buttons reflect the attribute changes at the appropriate time when I haven't left the window? That's a separate issue.
